Private Waterfront Getaway

Comfy Cozy and oh so Pretty Positive: This location was very private. The view was beautiful, right on the river. The cottage was cozy and clean, the beds and sofas were comfortable. We spent a lot of time in the screened in area of the deck since it rained our entire stay. Kara was the only person I had contact with concerning the cottage and she was quick to respond to any questions I had and very pleasant. Negative: Since it rained all three days we were there it was unfortunate there was no TV for entertainment. The hard water discolored the bathtub making it very unappealing. The main bedroom was great however the second bedroom was filled with the bunk bed (double bottom, single top). It would be fine for children but quite tight for an adult. Outside the mosquitos were quite thick so a can of repellent in the house would have been greatly appreciated or a heads up to bring some along would have been nice. When we arrived the yard was covered in Canada geese which was nice to see except they also covered the yard in poop. We never saw them gather on the yard again while we were there so I think if the property is booked up during the summer this might not be a concern. This is just a part of being in nature and not a negative towards the property, just a heads up to bring washable shoes, especially for kids. This would be a great, private getaway for a couple and I would rent this again for my boyfriend and I when we want to go fishing and see the Luminaire light show in Boctouche.

Negative: Property was not set up for guests. Lp gas was not connected. Therefore! No heat, gas stove did not operate, shower had no running hot water, kitchen had no hot water. Property manager wanted me to hook up the lp gas tank which was under the building. Property manager claimed the property was set up properly! And yet ! Wanted me to hook up the lp gas. Nonsense. Refused a refund request.

Friendly host. Clean and organized cottage. Beautiful area!!

Positive: Schöne Lage am Fluss, gut ausgestattet, sauber.

Magnifique panorama, manque d’entretien des lieux. Positive: L’endroit était parfait, la vue incroyable et un grand patio. Les lits étaient confortables, et il y avait la climatisation. Negative: J’ai reçu les accessoires à la dernière minute, un peu stressant. La propriétaire semblait ne pas avoir reçu la confirmation de mon paiement. Il y avait des fourmis dans les armoires, l’eau était brune. Peu d’équipement en cuisine..
