3 bedroom Waterfront Oasis

It was a peaceful space to reconnect with friends. We would love to come back in the summer! Positive: The cottage was AMAZING! We loved the simple, but tasteful, interior design. It has a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom, with lots of towels and necessities. And there were plenty of linen, blankets, and pillows. The view was astounding...the ocean right at your doorstep. The wrap around patio made it easy to appreciate the view. And there's only a 5-minute drive to a gas station/mini grocery if your forget anything. The hosts were also very easy to contact. Negative: One or two dining chairs were a bit wonky. And as a group that mostly cooked during our stay, we found the knives very dull and the one chopping board not enough.

Kara's beautiful house was true to the pictures and description..the smell of the ocean and lovely breezes were a bonus, we lucked out and had exceptional Fall weather. The only thing I missed (and with quite a few other vrbo houses) was a table, or suitcase stand in each room and maybe another full length mirror.

Our biggest issue was the listing said there was a king and a queen in two of the three rooms but the beds were much smaller than that. Maybe a queen and double but they felt even smaller. We were a group of 3 couples including 3 large men and a pregnant woman so this was a significant issue for us. We wouldn’t have booked the property if the listing had been accurate. There were some minor cleanliness problems like the showers not looking like they had been thoroughly cleaned, a used bar of soap in one of the showers, and dust and dead bugs in most of the corners. There were also some small maintenance problems like a loose tile that caused one of our group to lose a toe nail. The only other issue was it wasn’t super clear how to work the different heating and cooling units. We didn’t realize till the last day that the baseboard heaters had been on the entire time and the air conditioning as well, but the host was very responsive to answer questions.Other than that our stay was nice! The view was lovely and the set up of the place was overall good, the kitchen setup worked well and having a bbq was great.
